It’s hard to believe that we’re already 12 rounds into the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship Season – and what an exciting season it’s been so far. While the 250SX class in both the Western and Eastern regions have proved to be the most unpredictable, the question on everyone’s mind currently is “Can Eli Tomac be stopped?” Since claiming his first victory of the season in Glendale, the #3 Monster Energy Kawasaki rider has been almost untouchable. A once comfortable points lead held by the defending champion, Ryan Dungey has been whittled away to a mere 7 points with 5 rounds remaining. At this point, is it Dungey’s championship to lose?
