We’re on the eve of the second round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship in Houston, TX. Tomorrow, riders hit the track at Houston’s NRG Stadium, Home of the Houston Texans. But today, select riders had the opportunity to get a little preview session on the track during Press Day.

Press Day is a unique opportunity for members of the media to get up close and personal with the riders in a more relaxed setting without the intense pressures of race day. Each week, the teams invited to Press Day rotate – that means that on your week, you have an opportunity to get a feel for the track before your competitors. It’s also an opportunity for local news stations to really get a feel for this “Supercross thing” before the Night Show.

This week, we saw riders from Rockstar Husqvarna Factory Racing, Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star/Yamaha Racing, Smartop MotoConcepts, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS, and ibCorp.
